AirBlock™ Curtain Materials

FlexSim™ FR – FlexSim vinyl was especially developed for use in data center applications. It is low-outgassing and fire-resistant. It has been tested to the standards of NFPA 701 Small scale and ASTM E-84 Class 1.

FlexSim™ FR AS – This ESD-resistant vinyl has all the features of our outstanding FlexSim vinyl. Additionally, it is formulated with built-in ESD inhibitors to be static-resistant. Unlike topical coatings, these inhibitors will not wear off and will last for the life of the curtain.

PolySim™ – PolySim is made from an inherently static dissipative polyurethane that provides non-humidity dependent protection for sensitive data center environments where ESD is a problem. There is no plasticizer used in PolySim, making the volatile condensable contaminants (outgassing) extremely low. Because Polysim is an alloy using high molecular weight materials, the static dissipative properties are permanent. This material also allows you to meet sustainability goals because it is a urethane, as opposed to a PVC-based vinyl.
